Indicator:
-          Explain the definition  the union, intersection, and difference of two sets in group discussion
-          Determine the union, intersection, and difference of two sets in students worksheet by working in a group

DIAGNOSIS
Students’ prior knowledge, attitudes
Before entering this lesson:
-          Student must understand about the definition and notation of set
-          Student must master the concept of subset
-          Students are able to determine member and non-member of set.
-          Student master about the concept of Venn diagram
-          Students are able to serve data in Venn Diagram

Cognitive:
-          Students will be able to explain the definition of the union, intersection, and difference of two sets in group discussion correctly
-          Students will be able to find one example of union, intersection, and difference of two sets by writing it in their own note books correctly
-          Students will be able to solve problems about the union, intersection, and difference of two sets in students worksheet by working in a group minimal 4 out of 5 problems
-          Students will be able to solve problems given  about the union, intersection, and difference of two sets in front of the class structurally
Affective:
-          Students will be able to listen to the opinion of other students at class and group discussion patiently
-          Students will be able to involve their selves in group and class discussion actively
Psychomotor
-          Students will be able to write the answer of their group discussion in the white board systematically
-          Students will be able to retell material given by the teacher to one of their friends in the same group fluently

ü  Teacher greets the students generally
ü  Teacher explains the agendas of today’s lesson and writes them at the right side of whiteboard.
ü  Teacher point one of the students to open the class in prayer 
ü  Teacher explains the LOs of today’s class which are displayed at PPT
ü  Teacher motivates students to learn by giving them the explanation about the importance of today’s lesson
ü  Teacher checks students understanding by asking them to analyze the members of every set in a Venn diagram

By using cooperative learning model: Number Head Together (NHT)
Step 1: Create group
ü  Teacher divides students into 9 groups based on absence order. The first 7 groups contain 5 students while the last 2 groups contain 4 students. 
ü  Teacher asks students to name their groups with one of city name in Indonesia
ü  Teacher asks students to give number (1-5) to each student in their group randomly
Step 2: Conduct material
ü  Teacher explains the definition of intersection, union and difference of two set which showed at PPT and written at whiteboard by the teacher
ü  Teacher asks every student in a group to retell the definition of intersection, union and difference of two sets to a friend at their right side
ü  Teacher explains one example of intersection, union, and difference of two set and how to dram it in Venn diagram
ü  Teacher asks students to find another example about intersection, union and difference of two sets and write it in their note book
ü  Teacher lets the students to asks about the part that they still confused

Step 3: Group discussion
ü  Teacher gives student’s worksheet which contains 5 problems about intersection, union, and difference of two set to the students
ü  The teacher asks students to discuss about the problems and try to answer the problems
Step 4: Giving Answer
ü  Teacher mention a number randomly to answer the 1st question
ü  Teacher asks every student who has the same number mentioned by teacher to raised their hand
ü  Teacher asks every students who raise their hand to writes their answer in the whiteboard
ü  Teacher confirm the students answer and concludes the right answer of the 1st number
ü  Teacher repeat steps 4 until all the numbers of question are answered.
